ABOUT COACHING

Personal Coaching is consulting services for individuals.

Athletic teams have coaches to advise and support athletes. Businesses have business consultants or mentors to maximize business performance. Hiring a personal coach allows individuals to maximize their personal performance and achieve life dreams.

Coaching is helping successful people become more successful.

Who hires a Life Coach?

Anyone interested in getting more out of life is a candidate for hiring a coach. People interested in becoming the best in their field may hire a coach. Those interested in achieving certain goals such as starting a business, transitioning to a new career, having a happy family, overcoming self-defeating beliefs or behaviors, or experiencing internal peace, could benefit from hiring a coach.

Physicians, company executives, business owners, salespeople, entrepreneurs, bank tellers, homemakers, attorneys, clergy professionals, nurses, or teachers may want to hire a coach. Anyone seeking to expand the meaningfulness of their life could benefit from hiring a coach.

The coach's expertise is in drawing out the hidden strengths and gifts of each individual or team.  Don't kid yourself.  You are not yet functioning at the level you are capable of.  Much more awaits you.

Are you doing what you most enjoy? Are you tolerating anything? Is life easy? Do you have what you most want? Are you frustrated by situations which you have no control? Does your life flow?

There's a coach waiting to help you.

David takes the time to find out what winning in life means to you. He’s your cheerleader, encourager, mentor, resource person. He helps keep you focused on what’s most important to you. He’s someone who will hold you accountable for your life, and support you all the way until you get there.

People hire a coach because:

They want more.
They want to grow.
They want it easier.

A coach helps a client get all three. Quickly.

How does Coaching work?

Coaching is done mostly over the phone, in 1/2 hour sessions 3-4 times per month. However, the client may elect face to face meetings whenever proximity permits. Coaching can be supplemented through fax transmissions, voice mail messages, and e-mail connections as well. Being in the same city as your coach, or the same state or even the same country is not necessary.

Small business coaching or team building that involves on-site visitation is arranged by contract.

How is Coaching different from Counseling?

A person seeks out counseling when he or she is going through a particularly difficult time in their life, when they are in crisis, when they are seeking healing from one of life’s devastating blows, or struggling from extreme stress.

People seek out a coach to move their lives from ordinary to extraordinary, from mediocrity to greatness, from dreaming to achieving, from hoping to actualizing.

Counseling is about healing. Coaching is about living joyfully. Counseling is about resolving. Coaching is about fulfillment.

Counseling is generally about returning to “normal”. Coaching is about maximizing potential, excelling in personal and professional life, creating the life you always wanted.

What does Coaching cost?

Coaching is generally set up on a monthly basis. David recommends you commit yourself to a minimum 3 month plan, which gives you ample time to implement your newly discovered successful strategies. Cost is $300.  for 4 weekly 30-minute sessions per month. These contacts usually take place over the phone, though if you live close enough to the Institute, you may elect for face to face meetings.

You initial consultation with David, as well as a sample coaching session is free.

If you decide to set up a coaching relationship, you pay by check or credit card, at the beginning of the month. Once a relationship is established, "spot" coaching can be arranged on an "as needed" basis.
