
David A. Larson, MS, CPCC | David is a life-long student of learning the meaning of love, compassion, equality, peace, and oneness.
He is an alumnus of Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN, and did his post-graduate work at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.
A licensed psychologist, David received his life coaching certification from the Coaches Training Institute, and is a graduate of its Leadership Training Program.
A specialist in the management of anxiety and panic, David is the author of the popular anti- anxiety ebook course, How To Stop Your Anxiety Now!, http://www.how-to-stop-your-anxiety-now.com/callthecoach.htm which has been sold in 59 countries worldwide.
His recently produced relaxation training CD, Serenity: Guided Imagery for Health and Life, provides meditations for balance and clarity of mind for his students and clients.
As a TV host for KSMQ’s Family Connections Program, he brings significant family issues to the airwaves.
David is a Qigong Healer, trained in SpringForest Qigong, blending Eastern healing practices with Western methodologies and spiritual strength.
David pioneered the first community domestic abuse treatment program for men in Southern Minnesota, called the Freeborn County Domestic Abuse Intervention and Treatment Program. He is also well-versed in the treatment of depression, sexual abuse, stress reduction, and relationship building. He is a trained NOVA Crisis Intervention Volunteer and serves as a crisis intervention specialist.
David has been a leader of the Parents Are Forever program, which assists divorcing parents and their children in adjusting to a new life.
On a more personal level, Dave organized the Harmony Junction Barbershop Chorus in 1981 and served as its charter president. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Minnesota Festival Theater, Project Charlie, and two local churches. He spent several years as a group leader for the Freeborn County United Way fund drive. David loves reading, golfing, laughing, traveling, walking, writing, and appreciating life.
David has been married to Carol for 28 years. His deepest joy is taking in the treasure and wonder of his two daughters, Alexandra, 21, and Jade, 19.
